About Me

Heyo, thanks for visiting my website. It means a lot! My name is Johnathan Lee Montoya. I’ve been composing music with a program named FL Studio since 2006. I do not have a professional studio. I do not have the funds to create my dream home studio, but I do hope to one day be able to. My current “studio” consists of a M-Audio 88-key MIDI controller; Novation Launchpad; Two M-Audio CX5 studio monitors; a custom computer with the following specs: Intel Core i3 Processor, 3.1 GHz, 2 cores; one 2tb hard drive; 16GBs of RAM; GeForce GTX 550 Ti graphics card; on-board sound card; Samson C01U microphone; dual 22″ and 20″ monitors (Hanns G); and various plugins and sound packs. About a year ago, I had the opportunity to work with a indie game developer and compose some music as well as sound FX for a game titled SkyRavens.  Several musicians inspire me; some of which include, but are not limited to: Darren Styles, Basshunter, Deadmau5, Cascada, Italobrothers, Scooter, Manian, and many others. One day I hope to be on stage with one of my idols. My goal right now is a rather tough one. I am trying my best to get signed with a record label. With years of practice, hopefully I’ll be able to make it. I still have a lot to learn, I am no where near a professional level. Well, that’s pretty much me in a nutshell.
